Abstract

This paper explores the concept of supply chain resilience and the strategies employed to mitigate associated risks. The analysis begins by defining supply chain resilience as the ability of a supply chain to absorb and recover from disruptions. It then delves into the various types of risks that can affect supply chains, such as natural disasters, supplier failures, and market fluctuations. The paper examines the importance of understanding these risks to develop effective mitigation strategies. It further discusses several key strategies that organizations can implement to enhance supply chain resilience, including diversification of suppliers, building inventory buffers, adopting flexible production processes, and leveraging technology for better risk assessment and response. The study concludes by highlighting the need for continuous monitoring and improvement in supply chain resilience to ensure long-term sustainability and competitiveness.
